Dancing Through Crises

Increasing diversity in the UK freelance dance scene under the combined pressures of Brexit and Covid-19

Dancing Through Crises is a research project conducted by the dance programme of the School of Arts, University of Roehampton, in collaboration with University College London and the Paris-Lodron University of Salzburg, Austria. Collecting bottom-up insights into the impacts of Brexit and the Covid-19 crisis on the UK’s freelance dance scenes, it aims to propose concrete policy recommendations for the medium-term future.
